Same safe pace the app uses: 0.85% of body weight a week when losing, 0.25% when gaining. No sign-up.
Most apps promise 30 lb and deliver 19. BiteBop's forecast recomputes your metabolism every week as your body changes, projects on the adherence you actually hit rather than a perfect week, and shows a confidence band that's honest about uncertainty.
Ask an AI to invent a recipe and label its macros, and it will confidently call a 720-calorie meal 520. BiteBop resolves every ingredient against USDA FoodData Central and recomputes the totals from the ground truth, so the forecast is built on numbers you can trust.
BiteBop merges every ingredient across the week, sorts it by aisle, drops what's already in your pantry, keeps you under budget, then hands the entire list to Instacart. No retyping. No fifty taps. One.
BiteBop handshakes Instacart. Built on the Instacart Developer Platform with a production key approved by Instacart: your week's list opens in the Instacart app with every item already matched, so you pick a store and check out.
Five minutes to set your goal. The rest of the week runs itself.
Your body, your target weight, your date. BiteBop draws the honest path to get there, or tells you when a goal isn't safe.
A full week of meals, balanced to your macros, built from foods you love and validated against USDA data.
The whole week's groceries, merged by aisle and under budget, sent to Instacart in a single tap.
Log as you go. Your forecast learns your real metabolism and adherence, and updates the line ahead.
Health should never be a race to the bottom. BiteBop refuses goals that aren't safe, and points you toward real support when it matters more than a meal plan.
Nothing. BiteBop is free, with no subscription and no in-app purchases. We earn a small referral commission from Instacart when you shop through the app, at the same prices you would pay on your own. Pricing details.
Not yet. BiteBop is an iPhone app, iOS 17 or later, in the United States. If Android is what you need, tell us at the contact page so we can count the demand.
No. A free Instacart account is enough. Your week opens in the Instacart app with the items matched; you pick the store and pay there. Instacart's normal delivery or pickup fees apply to the order.
Not currently. You log weigh-ins in the app, and the forecast updates from them. Apple Health sync is on the list; we would rather ship it well than ship it first.
Yes. Swap any meal for another that fits your targets, set your dietary pattern, allergies and dislikes, and approve the week before anything is shopped. Custom recipes are not supported yet.
Your account and plans are stored on US servers with per-user access rules, never sold, and never used to train anything. You can delete your account from the Profile screen at any time. Privacy policy.
BiteBop turns your week of meals into a plan you can see the end of, and buy in a single tap.
