Weight forecast app

See the date you reach your goal weight.

Not a promise. A forecast, recomputed every week from what you actually weigh and what you actually ate, with a confidence band that tells you how sure it is.

How the forecast works

BiteBop starts from your sex, age, height, weight and activity, then adjusts as you log weigh-ins. It models fat loss and lean loss separately, accounts for the way metabolism adapts as weight changes, and projects forward on your real adherence rather than a perfect week. The old rule that 3,500 calories equals one pound is not in it, because it is wrong.

Why the band widens

Certainty about next week is high. Certainty about March is not. The forecast draws a band that widens with time, so the date you see is honest about what it knows. Every weigh-in narrows it.

The meals make it true

A forecast without a plan is a wish. BiteBop builds a week of meals to the calories and protein the forecast needs, validates every ingredient against USDA FoodData Central, and sends the whole grocery list to the Instacart app in one tap. More about the meal planning.

Try it in five seconds

The calculator on the home page uses the same safe-pace rule the app does: 0.85% of body weight a week when losing, 0.25% when gaining. Type two numbers and see your date, no sign-up.
